Lake Myrtle Sports Park
The Lake Myrtle Sports Park is a sports complex formed with a partnership between Polk County and the City of Auburndale. This sports complex houses a variety of sports competitions for the young and young at heart. This sports complex features nine baseball fields and eleven lit soccer fields.
“Events hosted at Lake Myrtle have varied from the National Dog Agility Championships, to regional rugby championships as well as lacrosse, flag football, and the Russ Matt Central Florida Baseball Invitational, the largest collegiate baseball tournament in the nation.”

Auburndale Cabana Club
The Auburndale Cabana Club offers a vacation destination you won’t want to leave. Whether you bring your RV for a few days or rent one of the on-site cabanas you are sure to enjoy yourself. This property includes a zero entry water play area complete with a water slide. You can also find a miniature golf course, activities, community fire pits, game rooms, and even a doggy wash.
Rates will depend on when you book and what time of stay you are reserving.
You can only visit Cabana Club if you are staying on-site or visiting someone who is.
Auburndale TECO Trail
The Auburndale TECO trail is a 6.5 mile trail where locals and vistors can walk, bike, or take out their pets for a nice stroll. With multiple access points, you don’t have to do the full 6.5 mile trail. Located along the trail are the Sports Complex and a dog park. This is a nice trail to get out for a morning walk.
International Market World
This flea market is located in Auburndale and open Friday-Sunday. You can find a variety of booths selling things you didn’t even know you wanted. There is also a large produce market, a small circus, and even an alligator show to be found at this location. Please make sure to bring cash as not all vendors will accept cards. If you drive around to the back of the flea market you can find an alligator as well as some bison. This is always a fun thing for kids to get to see.

Auburndale City Park and Butterfly Garden
While visiting Auburndale, you may want to stop in at the park and butterfly garden in the heart of downtown Auburndale. Let children play on the two-part playground divided by age. Watch trains zoom by as you sit by the playground fence. You can also enjoy a peaceful walk through the butterfly garden which is a perfect place to unwind for a bit or take a few beautiful photos.
